Drive is your personal cloud storage space within Loop Apps. It gives you a secure place to upload, organize, and access your files from any device with an internet connection. Every Loop account includes 1 GB of free storage — no payment or upgrade required.

Accessing Drive

To open Drive, sign in to your Loop account and click Drive in the left sidebar. The Drive interface loads immediately, showing your root file browser — this is your personal home folder where all your files and folders live.

Understanding the Interface

The Drive interface is divided into several key areas:

• Toolbar — Located at the top of the page. Contains the Upload button, New Folder button, view mode toggle (grid or list), and the search bar.
• File Browser — The main area that displays your files and folders. In grid view you see large thumbnail cards; in list view you see a compact table with columns for name, size, type, and date.
• Sidebar — The left navigation panel with quick links to My Drive, Shared with Me, Shared by Me, Favorites, Trash, and Activity.
• Storage Indicator — Displayed in the sidebar, this bar shows how much of your storage quota you have used and how much remains.

Navigating Folders

Click any folder to open it. A breadcrumb trail appears at the top showing your current path — for example, My Drive › Documents › Reports. You can click any segment in the breadcrumb to jump back to that level instantly.

Grid View vs. List View

Use the view toggle in the toolbar to switch between grid view and list view. Grid view is ideal for visual browsing, especially when you have images or documents with recognizable thumbnails. List view is more compact and shows additional details like file size, type, and last modified date in a table format.
